hey Darren, how do you see Juventus playing next year? any chance for them to stop Inter win again? and what teams do you think can fight to the top in Italy?
FOOTBALL SPY: Hello Multi Polo. No, you are not longer in the race for Melo. He has signed for Juventus as we expected.
As for Adebayor, sadly City are not crazy enough to pay £70million for him. But he has received a work permit and so he should be confirmed as an Arsenal player within the next 24 hours.
FOOTBALL SPY: You might have to do better than that Surge. Bendtner is 20 and many people believe he will improve. There aren’t that many people who think Adebayor will.
Like your concept, but you might have to get a better example.
… Bendter had virtually the same type of 1st year (Ades being better) 07/08- 8 total 7 in 27, 08/09 -14 total 9 in 31 EPL games but no one calls for his head. V.Persie has a better strike rate than Ade but the Flying Crutch Man, much like other Dutch players battles injuries often. Yet Arsenal is happy to lose Adebayor in this fashion?? It is a MAD WORLD we live in
definately mark hughes he just goes for big people and they will need time to settle in my opinion city need a cleaver manager who can spend wisely nt just big names
I can’t see liverpool signing anyone else, maybe 1 at the most. if Alonso goes it could be 2 i am guessing, No positions need to be filled really if players like Babel step up after Benayoun’s great season.
Any news on possible signings, even if there is the slightest of chance
I told you not to keep mentioning it Darren. I hold you personally responsible for the miserable season ahead. I just hope he doesnt go to Tottenham because then I will really need to join a support group
FOOTBALL SPY UPDATE: PRESS ASSOCIATION 5.15pm GMT: Highly-rated South Korea winger Lee Chung-yong is in line for a switch to Bolton in a deal worth in excess of £2million, according to his agent.
FOOTBALL SPY: Surge, I like your creativity. Convince me this will work and we will use it. You’ll have to go some to beat XWing Class’s Shame The Player idea though… ; – D
Darren I have a suggestion for a new segment called MAD WORLD. It could alternate with Shame The Player depending on which suggestion was better for that day. Mad World would cover why we think some transfer prices, rumours of in or outs, or of clubs being linked with moves for certain players make this a MAD WORLD we’re living in…I have a suggestion for the first I’ll write up in my next comment ….
I agrey he will be under some preasure esp after getting so close last season but he will be given the season to win somthing unlike mark huges who will be under a lot and will be out if he don’t win games in the first mounth or two darren that is also who i think
